The first step is to name attorney Boykin as your trust administrator. When the time comes to administer the estate in question, you can contact us, and we will help you with the following steps:
- Look at the document and assess the situation. Does the estate have to go though probate? What kind of assets are there? How is property to be divided? Is there an on-going business?
- Confirm how the assets are titled: are they in the trust, are they in the person's name, or are they in bank accounts? Is there a beneficiary designation where it will pass without going through probate?
- If probate it is needed, we will organize the petition and file all of the necessary documents.
